And what a lovely film: My Neighbour Totoro. smiley - biggrin
He's 4, just like Mei in the film. I think he identified with her.

Shame it's too late to be a "Do you remember the first time?" entry. Still, if it was, it wouldn't be a very exciting entry....

That's a lovely film and there are some lovely Studio Ghibli films to be had. My favourite is Kiki's Delivery Service; Spirited Away is another but I don't think it's suitable for tots, bit scary. A favourite with my 4yr old grandson and 2 1/2 yr old grandaughhter is Panda Go Panda, comments after watching were, "again". Porco Rosso was another favourite with my grandson. A flying ace who had been turned into a pig, a case of pigs can fly.
The anime section of HMV produces some gems at times.

Thanks Mistadrong, I will try to remember to look out for Kiki's Delivery Service and Porco Rosso. They sound fun. We have Ponyo on DVD too, but he is wary of trying it again, though he saw most of it at the cinema when it came out.
