Deep in space, it rockets by, in temporary orbit around the Planet Namek (or whatever's left of it.A huge spaceship, 150 meters long, shaped like a sleek running shoe, it is perfectly white and mind-bogglingly beautiful.At the heart of this ship, unseen, lies a small, golden boxwhich carries within it the most brain-wrenching device ever concieved;a device that has made this starship unique in tis part of the Galaxy (at least, till the h2g2 was published; now there are 1 or 2, a device after which the ship has been named...The heart of gold.

Thanks, ex-R, for your apology, your initiation of this Fan Club (I feel so honored. I'd like to thank the Academy...), and for your complete faith in my piloting abilities. Anyway, I think I better get on with the interior. Inside the aforementioned ship, which I feel really empowered and surprised to be in command of, there is a small room. It is not the kind of room that you would attend a high-society party in, not the kind of lounge that you normally find at schools under the heading "teacher's lounge". In fact, it's a lot grungier. There is a beat-up leather sofa next to one wall, with two broken-in recliners next to it. They face inward in a semi-circle towards a big-screen holo-TV and a coffee table, which the droids keep stocked with various munchies 24-7. The holo-TV remote is tethered to the table, and an intercom station is on an end table between the sofa and a chair. In short, it's the kind of comfy room many people would call a "den", and it's the headquarters of the Captain Venom Fan Club.

*hooks up ex-R's PC to a nearby router and does the same for his laptop, which just happens to have DII: LOD on it and his Assasin, whom really kicks @$$*

My husband has a 50th level assassin, but I've never played one. I just restarted a necromancer; Took Baal with a druid, want to try it with a necro. *snif* I miss snotspill and gharbaad, though, and farnham the drunk's comment about the water quest...

Assasins are really cool, they are almost sorceresses but have really powerful attack power as well. They're great. You should really talk to my little bro, he's beat the game guide-knows however many times.

You need to advertise this place. Have you ever heard of file sharing? My boy, ist, has found a hub and is downloading some good games. He's gotten Lunar star, xenogears, i think, and breath of fore 3.

I was just thinking your friends might want to visit your fan club. I guess you guys hang out all over the BeeB; You don't need another place to gather.

My RL friends hang on MSN, and my H2G2 friends hang on either the Mercenary threads or the Starpilot.
