Hi all,

this is something I wrote during a time when i was using a laptop quite often that had the dreaded nipple!

As i discovered more and more ways of avoiding using the mouse i got all evangelical about it and i guess this was the upshot.

As someone in the WW rightly said, it's all a bit long-winded in the descriptions, but the short-cuts are listed at the bottom.

I don't think i particularly want to PRify it just now, but as i'm getting all h2-active these last couple of days, i thought i'd drop this on the AWW.

After all, why the hell not?

(actually, i was only looking at it coz a load of stuff got dropped in the sin bin in my prolonged absence! But hey! Wwhat's a few months between researchers?)

Oh glee! Internet Explorer? PC? You know my computer all too well!

I'll be using these... very useful

some are essential, others are handy, others can end up taking more time than point 'n' click...

Personally I think this should go into PR - where was it before it was moved to the Flea Market?

This fits the EG guidelines to a nicety.

It is also well written (natch) and informative. I had been wanting to know how to flip between windows and programmes like that for years, but was afraid to ask!

no, i never bothered putting it into PR coz it wasn't really intended to go through editing etc

just getting things clear for myself, as much as anything, and trying to make it less dull than the MS Help section!

nice to know the knowledge will be put to use. One day i actually put my mouse on the left hand side to try to avoid the reflex reach for a p-n-c and really found out which ones i'd rather use the mouse for and which were really 'shortcuts', .
