Hi Goth,

Actually, where I live now it's quite nice. It would be about 278 Kelvin at the moment. Where I came from on the other hand it would be a bit more chilly. A deranged friend of me who actually still live up north told me he woke up last night because his bed was shaking. It did so because of the wind. Which again reminds me why I moved.. smiley - smiley

As for trees: Yes. Norway has a lot of trees. Except for in the mountains. And up north the mountains are so cold they've huddled together at a lower altitude (highest point in my home region, which by the way is the approximate size of Denmark, is 1080 meters -- that would be about 3000 feet for the metrically challenged). I've got a picture of my home village somewhere... There's no way of posting pictures in your introduction I suppose?

Sorry for the late reply, the last month or so has been quite hectic.

I think I might have confused you a bit in my last message. What I meant was that the northenmost part of Norway is quite low, the highest peak is at 1km above sealevel. For the rest of the area it is quite flat and much lower. I grew up on the seaside. Still no trees though, it's to far north.

PS: Stay away from kitchens, it spoils the fresh, raw taste.
