It is only recently that I became interested in the internet or even the whole computer thing(shame on me!)when I realised that my four year old son knew more about it all than me I decided it was time I did something about it.A friend who also used to be computer phobic suggested I try h2g2 as a starting point so here I am sitting terrified at my computer wondering if I will ever understand any of the jargon,will I make any new friends and if I do will I ever get to bed!.I can only hope my contributions will be as worth reading and funny as most of the ones I have read.c u soon inceywincey!

Welcome !! Computers have much the same effect on me too ! You will probably settle down quite soon so don't give up.

Hello there Inceywincey!
Welcome to the wonderful world of h2g2! I know computers can be scary but the people here are really friendly!
It would be really good if you put an introduction on your space - even if it just says hello as then people will be able to leave messages for you. To do this you will need to press the 'Edit Page' button. I know that introducing yourself can be hard - as you will see if you visit my space (you can do this by clicking on my name above).

It can all seem a bit overwhelmingly large to start with but in those immortal word Dont Panic - if you have any questions please feel free to ask and I will do my best to help.
