Hello and welcome to H2G2. My name is Psycho monkey dragged through a vortex backwards, but like every one else just call me CK (its easier to type!).
Im an ACE (assisstant community editor) and its my job to officially introduce you to H2G2 and answer any of your questions. I've prepared some links for you to get you started on H2G2, just click them to take you to that page. Second link is the GuideMl clinc, a place which teaches researchers how to use GuideML, H2G2's own own markup laguage which is similar and based on HTML but you'll learn more about that here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A187229

For information on smileys vist: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/Smiley this is the section of H2G2 which explains about smileys and how to make them appear. Once you know how, its hard to stop the little guys/girls appearing all over the place in your messages

As far as H2G2, I'm getting along great...to bad there's a real world. (damn depression) I'll get through it (hopefully)...only a few more weeks till winter break!

Good good, depression?! I admit the long dark winter days do get very depressing , but will be here soon! Having fun then? Got the hang of the smileys?

Ohh sorry didnt see you lived in the USA. Does it get dark over there like at 4pm?

Yes, yes it does...I live very near Canada, so everything's dark for quite a bit of the day. However, I'm fairly certain that's not why I'm depressed...that's been going on much longer than the shortened days.

Eh, don't worry about sticking your nose in. You're welcome to...especially if you think you can help. Anyway, it's been getting much better recently. Talking to people helps. (Not actually *about* depression, just talking...I'm usually quite antisocial)

Well, right now I'm in a very good mood...even though I've got a calculus test tomorrow and a story to write for the paper and tons of other stuff. It's all good.

Maybe I should go study.
