Gym session before work today. Decided to try the advice of reducing the weight and upping the number of reps per set to give an increase in amount moved.
Normally om pull downs I would do three sets of 61kg at 8 reps or 1464 kg today I did three sets of 40kg at 16 reps or 1920kg. I felt that the weight was too light so I put it back to 61 kg and did 8 reps, so I actually moved 2408 kg.
Either I lowered the weight too much or shold have moved to 20 reps per set.
Also found yesterday my maximum heart rate is 220-45 or 175 and the peak rate being between 65-80 5 of the max should be between 105 and 145.
Also found an excellent site that gives muscle diagrams, explanations and exercise demos in inset video-Whooo(as homer would say, if he was into weights and not doughnuts)
On the downside the combined tiolet/showers did not work because of water pressure so had to ask the cleaner to unlock the mens downstairs chnaging rooms. The upstairs ones were being cleaned.
Also drinking in excess of two liters of water at work but keep needing the toilet, still makes me get up and walk around
