Actually, a couple of years ago my local volunteer fire brigade was given a replacement truck while one of ours was off to get repairs. This truck was a real dump! Apart from the fact that it was using 1950's technology, it also had no brakes and after a couple of near misses, we decided it would be best to leave that truck in the shed and use one of our other appliances...
