not heard of the US company, any of our US readers any ideas on them?

But we're getting Captain Jack and Gwen back apparently. S'gonna be an RTD gig by the sound of it and film in the US and rest of world as well as Cardiff.

It's about time!

I am sure I shall watch it, but I hope it's more akin to series 3 than 1 and 2. Hard sci-fi and tense drama win over silly plotlines and everybody coping off with everybody else.

I suspect it will be from the blurb they are giving it.

OTOH RTD is still in charge, so there will be mucho cheesy emotional scenes and lots of Cap'n Jack moments I suspect. Esp as it is on cable in the states.

Looking at the channel listings I see Starz are the people behind Spartacus: Blood and Sand.

Can you imagine Cap'n Jack in that?
I'm sure he'd have fun though.

Starz is one of the pay-movie channels, like HBO, which is charged in addition to the usual cable offerings. Spendy. UKians should have a better deal through BBC than we'll get this side of the pond, though.
