The Theory Posted Nov 11, 2001
I am having a fairly good Sunday. It is only, like 3:40 in the afternoon, so I don't know how the rest of my day will go. In the morning I was at church, then came home and crashed on the couch to watch football. So it has been a worry-free day.
Yourself?
peace.

The Theory Posted Nov 13, 2001
Depends on if you're talking soccer or football (the American version with the lopsided ball)
If American, the Cleveland Browns. If soccer, my Highschool team.
peace.

Yeah, life is grand, actually. It is Thanksgiving holliday here in America, so my grandparets are visiting and we had this huge lunch with turkey and mashed potatos (and gravey) and sweet potatos and corn. And pie for dessert. Of course the best is the time of school *grin*. I am really tired so I can't think of anything creative to say... sorry.
peace.
Hey!
The Theory Posted Nov 22, 2001
Thank you, you too. where are you from? If memory serves correctly, you not american, though I dunno. If you are not, you don't have Thanksgiving, do you?
That is one of the cool things about h2g2, learning about different cultures. yup.
peace.

Badgers dont have thanksgiving - what is it?
Hey!
The Theory Posted Nov 23, 2001
When the settlers came to America, the Native Americans (indians) brought corn and rice and other food (not sure on the specifics) to share with the settlers. They had a big feast. So many years latter they made that day a national holiday where we get to eat and visit relatives. And get off school. and work. So it is kind of a "tradition" holiday, but then again, aren't they all?
peace.

That sounds most welcoming and accommodating
A day of school you say?
Do you like school. As a young badger I was fortunate enought to go to a very good school and get myself an education. There is nothing this Badger like better than finding an old newspaper to read ...
Hey!
The Theory Posted Nov 25, 2001
School? for the most part, yeah. I just wish that "grades" weren't apart of the whole system. Keeping up my "grades" is often a loosing battle... But I do enjoy learning things. And talking with friends.
peace.
