Fenchurch, if you're out there right now (Ok, I don't have the user list up), I need your help.
I listened to Queen II last night, and now I have Fairyfeller's Masterstroke in my head. Only problem is, I can remember how it starts, but I get a mental block. ARGH!!!!
Don't you just hate it?

Wowbagger Posted Jul 30, 1999
My all time favourite Queen album (which I always quote in my top 5 album list) is definitely "A Night At the Opera". Any album that can have "Death On Two Legs", "Lazing On A Sunday Afternoon", "I'm In Love With My Car" and "You're My Best Friend" in a row will always have my vote. A truely eclectic album.
I also have a soft spot for the Flash Gordon soundtrack, as much for the quotes from the film as for the music.
Fenchurch, thank you so much for the User page advice. I shall have many more questions, but I'll have to digest what you've told me first. Expect to see big changes on my site .
I expected Cake would be a bit like that. Strange fellows indeed.
Welcome to the discussion Garibaldi!
As for Queen's sexuality, I concur with both of you. Had nothing to do with what was a bloody good band. As for who wrote what, it still doesn't answer the ultimate question of Queen, the Universe and Everything...
What is to be done about fat bottomed girls?
And can Brian help, wherever he may be at present?
ARGH!!!
Fenchurch M. Mercury Posted Jul 30, 1999
The music or the lyrics? Cos I could sing it to you... but I don't think you'd hear it . Oh well I'm too late... alas! As for the book, that's what I figured, I just wanted to know if there was something that spurred that lady to write it and attempt to market it that I didn't know about...
As for Brian May, I propose we ferret out an e-mail and see if there's an explanation over the rage about those fat-bottoms. At the official Queen site there is a link to his own website/musical endeavours. Maybe we could, to attract some attention, get together under the name "Duke" and write a song about big-haired boys on our debut album, "Jazzy"? Okay, that was bad, I know...

Can we drug all fat bottomed girls in their sleep, and perform liposuction on them so that they no longer have the power to make the rockin world go round?
ARGH!!!
Fenchurch M. Mercury Posted Aug 1, 1999
Hmm...would that require me growing a fat bottom? Who would pay for it? I say we used the (supposed) U.S. government surplus, unless you've got a better idea...

Has anyone heard about Queen's Greatest Hits III? There is link on the official page, but no info. :-\

Fenchurch M. Mercury Posted Aug 1, 1999
I just heard about it yesterday, and that's just because you mentioned it on your page, sorry . I'm sure more news will come out soon.

Hehe, well thanks for your help anyway.
I went to sleep listening to Queen II last night. At least I don't have a song stuck in my head at the moment

I'm sure that MacDonalds could make a tidy profit from leftover liposucked bottom fat and stop using pig fat for a while in their sundaes....
And Fenchurch, if you went to all the trouble of keeping your bottom little all of this time, I don't think you should have to sacrifice that. Just, by taking the fat bottomed girls out of the equasion, it just makes for a level playing field, y'know?
It's every bottom for themselves, so to speak.
ARGH!!!
Fenchurch M. Mercury Posted Aug 2, 1999
Ew, that's disgusting. I'm glad I stopped eating at McDonalds long, long ago *and*
Why thank you. I think with such a playing field I'd do very well, as I can be loud and fairly flamboyant. Most little-bottomed girls have trouble with that, I think.

Hi Fenchurch, Wowbagger et al.
The HTML thread wasn't doing very well compared to the Rock'n'Roll side (strange that ), so I thought I'd dive in with a quick addition.
H2G2 uses an XML pre-processor, and it's a bit fussy about closing tags, so to be absolutely safe on using your spacing, you're better off specifying , the "self-closing" break. Alternatively, start your paragraphs with a and end them with a , that should work in all environments.
I'd have to say, though, it's not the size of the bottom - it's what you do with it .

hehe
I have never had any problems with the breaks, but I don't close them... I think it goes in and changes them to once I submit it...
Since I posted that Pastey has come up with an absolutely wonderful How2H2G2 page that'll help you out bunches with the tags and such without the rambing of yours truly

I'm sure you will.
Have taken the first steps to remodelling my page, but I don't know how to get a url of a picture, or more to the point, I'm not sure what that means. Sorry for my ignorance.
ARGH!!!
Fenchurch M. Mercury Posted Aug 7, 1999
You should be able to right-click on the page and in the menu there will be a selection- "view source". Click on that and you'll get an entire listing of all the code used to put that page together, and while it may be a bit confusing, you should be able to shuffle through and see which url is that of the picture you want...

I personally think that small bottomed girls make the rockin world go round, in a much better way than fat bottomed girls do. I'm not quite sure what Freddie Mercury was thinking when he wrote that song. But he was incredably wrong.
In fact I never really liked Queen anyways. Wasnt much for any of their songs.

Well, my Empress, you make MY rockin' world go-round! I play guitar, and I'll even write you a song! All about how your absolutely LOVELY little bottom makes my world rock and roll! :0)
An you can always remember that your little bottom is the MOST WONDERFUL bottom in the WHOLE WORLD!
;0) (nudge, nudge, wink, wink)
Love,
da Baron

Vatos, you must realise you are surrounded by Queen fans here, but I'll let you off lightly. This time.
Small bottomed girls DO make the rockin' world go 'round, but I think that Freddie may have been trying to bring fat bottomed girls up to the light as they generally don't tend to end up there. And there ARE a lot of fat bottomed girls in the world that should be congratulated for teaching 'skinny lads' a thing or two.
