h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

All being well i should be a proud home owner in a couple of weeks!!
technically i guess i will own half a home since i am buying with my bloke but same difference!!
Its all exciting, going to be sooooo broke but it will be worth it to get sorted and a little bit settled!!
Anyway just had to share!!

Congratulations, DJ. Have you got all the stuff ready and packed in boxes? How about a kitchen? Or is there one in the new house? It's nice to sit on the floor of each room and think and plan and think and plan -- like a cat might! Enjoy!!

We're still plotting at the moment but the kitchen is a pretty decent size which is great cos it means i get to have space in which to practise my cullinary skills!!

It also means we can get a dog which we have wanted for ages!!

Don't forget to take lots of photos ... over the years, one forgets the amount of work carried out and it is a nice reminder of the work that you have stuck into the property.

Everyone I know (exaggerated) seems to be getting Jack Russells. Much too small ... can't even really call them a dog. Labrador or Alsatian, are much better? Or have you got a dog in mind.
We got our dog from a home ... there were about 7 similar dogs in a cage, but this one, our dog, was the only one that was climbing up the cage walls. We had to pick her ... best dog ever (especially for the children).

We both work and its not the biggest house so much as i would love a labrador or a boxer it wouldn't be very fair
We are looking at getting a west highland terrier, although they are small dogs they have huge personalities and are pretty mad!!

There is a theory that owners of dogs, buy them because there are similaries to what they look like:
