Hey WR, long time no see... Stopped in to say hello... Wait. DO you remember me? LOL - in case not, I'm the one who was tryng to learn Afrikaans - have done rather well I think. And things are looking very hopeful that I will be moving to Pretoria in a couple weeks. ANyway, thought I'd drop a line, and say hello

Heya, WR, how ya doing? Well, not moving to P-town, at least not in the near future but, I SHOULD (with me, these things are never certain) be there for a quick trip in a couple of weeks. Would be pretty cool to hook up and say hi.
Maybe you can tell me this: how long before playing the guitar stops wreaking havoc on my poor, abused fingertips?

Nylon is easier on tender fingertips, but steel will get them totally painless faster - I lost the feeling in my left fingertips thirty years ago! Just keep it up the practice and it'll kill the nerve endings in no time at all!
