Bob,
I don't want to stir up any trouble should what I mention not be accurate, but I believe the original founders of this society may have moved on to better projects. The last comment was in 2003 and the page hasn't been updated in a while.
Should it cease to exist, shall we create our own society? I'd definitely like to keep the parliamentary style, as I feel it's very conducive to a good debate.
Any thoughts?

Well yes
Start the whole thing again as is but more accessable and less formal.
Allow for debates with less presentation than 400 words. That the club mediators could expand upon as necessary. And present and vote in the same way.
And call it the Hootooers.
