Josh the Genius Posted Oct 26, 2001
Say, where can I get the extremely cool smiley faces I see around here?
How about these smiley faces?
Galaxy Babe - eclectic editor Posted Oct 26, 2001
You can type them very easily
< biggrin > = {without the spaces}...
< devil > =
< peacedove > =
< flyhi > =
< tea > =
Just click on one of the smileys = to be taken to their page, where you will find a whole host of the fantastic creations
{just hold your cursor over one to find out how to type it, then remember to use the < and > and then post.
If you aren't sure if you've done it right, then use the "preview" button first. If the smileys are right, they will appear as smileys, if not, then you can correct them, then "post".
Have a practise.
Hope that helps

I notice you have a lot of edited articles. Any suggestions for me?

The trick is to write about what you *know*.
You know best what you know
Sometimes you just need a nudge, with so huge a canvas to paint...
e.g.
I give out Keeper titles & one time a newcomer came and asked for the title "Keeper of Pistachios", and I asked him what it was!
He checked the guide & found no entry, so he wrote one.
It's now in the edited guide.
You don't need to be an expert.
Just be original, keep it third person, and when you put it into Peer Review, expect constructive critisism.
You would be better off reading the http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/PeerReview page.
I'm bound to have forgotten something important
