I'm more of a geek because he says I am than for any other reason. It might have something to do with the fact that I still have a functional Beta Max video cassette player and Commodore 64 personal computer. I used the Commodore up until grade 12. I'd be on IRC and no one believed me that I was using a Commodore to chat with them.
I'm mostly into old school stuff (like Beta and Commodore). My programming languages of preference are BASIC and Turing, but I'm really not all that computer smart.
I'm really more of a tech chick. I took Electrical Construction in highschool and was the only girl in my class. I also took Electronics and got to skip the intro course still ending up with the highest final grade in the class. I have both Electronics Workbench and Get Wired for my PC. I blew up a glue gun trying to use it to solder one day (because I didn't have a soldering iron).
I really wish that I had a binary clock because I think they are wickedly cool, but they are also wickedly expensive and cost just as much to build from scratch.
The only other thing I can think of is the part about LEGO. (Which translates to "play well" if you didn't know. ) I played with Duplo ever since I was born. My sister and I even played with it in the bath.

A beta max? wow, I used to have a commodore 64 but I used a few components for an experament. I can program in BASIC but I prefare VB, C++ or Assembler. I have wired up and modded so many things in my room that you can't see the equipment for the wires . I event did a neat trick with an RF transmitter to make a portable camra. nice, because you can hide it anywere. (althought he batteries were a bit big.)
I used to play with LEGO... no wait I still do. I once got a funny look when I minded some kids for a friiend and I started to play with thairs . never had duplo though.
