Wednesday, 30th June, 8pm. My girlfriend has just been offered a Senior Lectureship at Oxford Brookes University. WOO HOO! Attagirl!
I was certain she would get it, as the job description could have been written for her. Watch out Oxford......Now going out to celebrate.

Why anyone would want to be around Oxfor Brookes beats me. I was there for a year and that was enough. Still, I suppose if it's what you want to do then fine. Good luck to her.

Funny thing was I loved Oxford. An excellent place to be. I also think it depends on what you study. Different places are good for different things.
