Hiya, Welcome to hootoo! I spotted you on JEllens thread; she is a longstanding friend of mine from this site. It was really kind of you to post your first time to try & help someone else.
That's one of the main things about this site, it really can be a very supportive online community, i reckon DNA would be delighted. Do feel free to lurk my Personal Space & maybe drop in on the "EYEBALLS!" journal thread, it's a sort of drop in & say hi/whinge/moan/rant/jump for joy, whatever place; rather like a local pub!
Aww, sorry to hear about missing; i know what it's like, i don't live in a place right now where it's safe to let Yoda out, but way back i had another cat, Rambo, who went missing for 3 agonising weeks. Amazingly, he found his way back to a block of flats, through the desert, somehow found the right door & howled like hell to be let in: i had pretty well given up by then. He was a slimmer, filthier,flea-ridden but maybe wiser cat afterwards! So don't give up hope: remember; they are actually pretty clued up creatures by nature & usually survive.
zdt (it stands for zen devil Terri but i am usually to lazy to type the whole thing!)

Thanks for writing! Freddie is still missing, presumed fed, but he has been sighted a couple of times living wild and free in the fields round our village. I just wish I had had him to the vets before he decided to run away. Do you really live near a desert? And what kind of cheese boxes do you make. Are they full of cheese or made of cheese. I really like cheese so I'd like to know.

Hmm; seems like Freddie has decided to "go native"!
I don't live near a desert now, i live in France, but at that time i was living in Qatar (Middle east); which is definitely a desert!
The cheeseboxes are my name for a type of artwork i do, sort of 3 dimensional collage stuff. I find/get given all sorts of weird & wonderful objects & assemble them into a pattern or scene inside a box. because i live in France, the most easily available free boxes are (you guessed it!) cheeseboxes! They are nice light wooden boxes, in all shapes & sizes, so ideal for this "assemblage art".
Hope you are having fun on hootoo!
