Anyway, what sort of music are you into? Where have you traveled? Please write back! (just hit the "reply" button right under this posting. 9 times out of ten it won't hit back)

Hi Plato
It's a nice surprise to hear from someone so soon. In response to your questions, I've mostly travelled around Europe, especially Germany. If you're thinking of heading that way soon I'd recommend going to Paris (it really is as beautiful and romantic as everyone says it is) and Berlin, the most fascinating city I've ever been to. Italy is also a fantastic country. Have you been to any of these places already yourself?
When it comes to music, for me, anything goes. I love rock and indie bands, such as U2 and Suede, and older stuff too, like the Beatles and Bob Dylan. When I go out I love to go to trance and house nites, the harder the better - DJ Lisa Lashes burns up the decks like no other.
I'm also partial to some classical stuff too, such as Satie and Puccini, and a bit of the Ludwig Van. Stuff I don't like much: garage & R'n'B.
Once again, thanks for getting in touch
Hope u'r having fun out there in cyber-space & in life in general

Thanks! Actually, I have been to Germany and Italy, but not Paris. Mostly because it is F***ch. The Beatles are Awesome, U2 is ok, but my favorite band is P.O.D. I like Rock, but I like other stuff too, like Classical
, and rap(somewhat). Where are you located btw?

What do you mean Paris is too F****h? Believe me, the rest of France is F****h, but Paris is Parisian, which is another thing entirely - you'll understand what I mean if you visit it!
Good on you for thinking that the Beatles are awesome. Do you like John Lennon's post-Beatle music as well? He's one of my absolute heroes. Which classical music composers are your favourites? And by the way, I do like rap as well: the real, hard heavy stuff with phat base and some more chilled out stuff as well. Do you also like D'n'B? Usually it figures. I think it's quite cool but impossible to dance to!
Have fun, Lizzy

DnB? what is that?
I actually don't like John Lennon. I think imagine is a nice song, but that's about it... Hmmm... Fave Classical composers? They'll have to be Beethoven(of course), Mozart, and I like Wagner's "ride of the Valkyries". What are your favorites?

Err, drum'n'bass. Don't you have that kind of music your side of the Atlantic? It's kind of an extreme form of garage with hip-hop influences (but it's a lot better than garage!
).
In your intro you said that you're a fan of Monty P (all together now: "I wish to make a complaint about a parrot..." ). Which is your favourite film & favourite sketches from the show?

Hi! My favorite sketches would have to be...
1. The parrot sketch (of course)
2. The Airplane sketch
There are lots of other good ones that I can't name right now, but my favorite film would be The Holy Grail...You?
Greetings Lizzy!
Lizzy Posted Sep 15, 2001
Yes, I like "The Holy Grail" 2, but I think my favourite Monty P film is "The Meaning of Life". As 4 a favourite sketch, well, that's a difficult 1. Do u know I've NEVER seen the Parrot Sketch? Aren't I deprived? A couple I have seen tho & found v funny tho are "The Silly Buggers Race" & the 1 with Eric Idle as a children's storyteller ("...with a marrow?!!!
).
I also read on your intro page that u'r a Dwarfer. Right on! I wouldn't exactly call myself a Dwarfer, but I've seen nearly all of the episodes of "Red Dwarf" (most of them more than once). A couple of my favourite episodes from this are "Backwards" & "Duct Soup", tho there are loads of really excellent ones.
Are u a fan of any other British comedy series? I love "Fawlty Towers" & "Blackadder", plus a there's a new series of "Absolutely Fabulous" on in the UK at the moment - that always makes me laugh.
Hope u'r OK out there in cyber-space, cheeri-bye!
