Welcome to h2g2 I'm deackie, one of the volunteer ACEs who meet and greet new researchers and provide any help if it's needed. I see you've already started to get to grips with Guide ML on your personal space so I assume you're finding your feet here.

The best way to get to know the place is to have a good look round (do a bit of lurking as it's known here) and join in some conversations and meet people.

Hi deakie, and thanks for the welcome. I lurked a while before joining so I know roughly what it's all about, but even so....it's a big place.

It is a big place, I certainly haven't navigated my way around the whole of it despite the many hours I have spent pootling around here. Have you had a look at any of the clubs and societies that are here? They're usually a great way to meet other researchers and have a good laugh.
