Linux entry - still interested>?

Not sure if you still check your h2g2 space, but I saw the comment you made about the entry for newbie Linux, or people thinking of switching over.
I'd be interested to help, if at all possible, with the perception of someone who has just made the switch and is learning fast (and enjoying it!).
If you're still interested in going ahead with this project, then please write back - you might want to email, [email protected] - my conversations bit on my space is absolutely chock full with Peer review, which I need to delete.

Yes I am still interested. I've just been really busy. New job and all that, then I went away blah blah blah. Anyway things have calmed down now so I have time.
How's your linux experience going?
Please write back if you are still interested and then we can get together to discuss it further.

Funny you say about new job, as I've got an interview on Thursday for a career change (teaching>>> IT).
I'll write more about my Linux stuff when I've got time - thanks for replying.

OK, well what I am going to do is write a intro to linux on a page here in h2g2, probably over this weekend. Then I intend to set up conversations for compiling, X config, kernel, and other such stuff. I am hoping that it will grow from there...
