I honestly didn't realise what a bunch of nutters I truly work with - this is a compliment, of course! I apologise for any mistakes in advance as I have consumed a few drinks of the fermented grape variety by this point 
My red strapless dress looked loverly, I danced most of the night away, one of the surveyors bounced me on his knee and wants £10 for the privelege, another surveyor's dad owns a prestigious bar in Edinburgh so we got to the VIP bit for nowt and cadged a free taxi home (thanks muchly, Jonny! 
) and I saw a guy I used to go to school with in the hotel where we had our party. Only downside - for a posh hotel, the food left a lot to be desired...ah well! We had a free bar!

I got chatted up at the bar before we went in and one of the surveyors said he'd give me £10 to dance with him cos I said no at first - never got the money though!
