h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Ok, I know, life isn't fair. I'd like to get my hands on whoever said that in the first place. I think they need to get a good stern talking to. I know it's not something I should dwell on, and generally I don't. But sometimes, somedays... Being an artist is a curse. It's not something i really can do anything about! I get this need to create. Maybe it's a disease. When I tell others what i do, i usually get 2 responses. The first being, "ohhh what fun!" Hmmmm. Well if you're idea of fun is never knowing where the next months rent is coming from, figuring out which necessity to put off so you can do your art for another week or two, getting reviews that call you talented, call your work brilliant and solid, but never gaining acceptance or a living wage from it. Then yeah, I guess it's fun. The other response i get is... "what do you really do." The answer to that, lately, is well i'm cultivating going insane, i just need to get the pollination down a bit better.
