Nowhere good to eat in Manchester. You must have spent the last five years in Manchester sat indoors, or at the very least on the most miserley of student budgets. Perhaps the biodiversity scared you into not venturing out of your little halls of residence. Or perhaps you were scared of being spoken to by strangers. Whatever the reason, you want a good meal, look up my entry on Where to eat in Manchester. Or learn to cook.

That almost sounded like a flame. If you go and take a look
around town, you will find very few places to eat that are not closed
down by environmental health on a regular basis. If your favourite meal
is rat samber or cockroach with seasonal vegetables, then Manchester is
definately the place to eat. If on the other hand, you prefer to eat
something that wasn't scuttling out the back an hour ago I suggest you go
elsewhere. Or like you suggest and I have done, learn to cook and the
art of after dinner conversation.

By the way, when you can come up with someting witty, try it out on
someone who could appreciate it. I woud suggest you look outside of the
area tho.

I think the original comment is true. Curries - yeah no problem. But when my girlfriends dad came to visit, could we hell find somewhere that did 'British' food.
Pub grub isn't so bad though - Hogshead, Moon under water et al.
