I know when it happened, it did occur that something good might come of it if he became more careful Certainly, the lollipop man tells me that his behaviour has become far more circumspect now, and he is very careful to make sure that traffic has stopped before crossing the road. In a way, it felt a bit sacriligious to say that, but I think it may be true. If it prevents more serious injury later, then it may have been a good thing .

Oh, ZSF, how scary - sorry to have missed all of this, I am bad at subscribing to journals. Odd how good comes out of the scariest things.

Yes, and I think that some good really has come out of this. He's very much more circumspect around vehicles these days, and he is doing better at school, both in the classroom and out of it.

I'll not hear what happens as far as the driver is concerned for about 6 months, I think.
