h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

hello,came across your page by accident really,but glad i found it tho!
i'm what you call a 'newbie',and have already met Floh(ace) who has been
very helpful.but i now find that i am having problems with Floh's page and cannot
write to her.i have noticed that there are some
pages that i just can't 'open' at all.
i am with NTL,could ths be the reason why i am having probs do you think?luvved your page anyway!
i am also in my 40's,so your page really appealled
to me.hope to hear from you soon.thanx.

Hi corndolly, sorry I've not answered you before, RL interferes a bit a weekends I don't know much about accessing h2g2 through a tv, if that's how you are doing it, but I use an NTL cable telephone line & have problems myself sometimes when the weather's bad ' Oooh err missus, water in your junction box !'

Anyway, welcome again to h2g2, us 40 somethings have got to stick together, there's quite a few of us about If I can help in anyway, just give me a shout.

Aahhhhh, I'm with you now, yeah, there have been a few problems just lately, but the team at HQ are on to it & I'm sure they'll sort it out soon.

I've been here almost two years now & can't stay away it's addictive. Have you found any favourite places yet?

hello again...fav.places...well,that's the
problem!! the places i have tried just don't wanna
'load',or so it seems.the curser goes
when i click on somewhere i wanna go,
then i'm left waiting and waiting!!
how long do i wait i onder? does it take secs or
minutes to loggon to a page?
i wanted desperately to go to the Camalot
'game'...but it just won't 'load'..GRrrrr!
also,i wanted to join the Panners Society,same problem.
oh well,hopefully it'll soon be sorted.
