Today was a good day for feeling at home. The kitchen is now free of layers of grease and my bedroom lives up to its name as it now contains a bed. I'm a little more at home here. (I have moved from Twenties Metroland to the Victorian heart of the early tube system, somewhere between Barbican and Farringdon.)
Oh, and if today happens to be your birthday, don't cry even if you want to.

Sounds incredibly industrious sir.
The day has just begun here.
I'm meaning to apply a similar level of domesticity. I hope I live up to the standards already set.
No crying here, birthday or no.

Hi spim!
Glad it's at last beginning to fall into place.
Not quite my birthday either, not quite crying, though have come pretty close recently.
Having a worthy bedroom is avsolutely vital. Now you can closet yourelf away & do whatever a spim needs to do to sustain him when he's not filing past Beryl & the bike.
(Did you take my advice about the Marigolds, or are you now a wrinkly? Never mind, there are a few of us about!)
Hope the neighbours are friendly. Worthy bedrooms next to useless with Psycho's & allies prevailing.
Terri.
