Bonjour, mon copain, or is that the expression I am looking for? About time you started perusing that Froggie phrase book m'dear!
Shame about the deflating attempts by certain elements, but as you say, cloud nine is on a distinctly higher plane than where they are at, we should, I suppose, let "noblessse oblige" be our by-word at this point.
Still somewhat glum though; not helped by such trivialities as the continuing tiscali saga; now got Whisky on the case though & loup; plus the bloody fridge has decided to die on me for some inexplicable reason!!
Don't worry, the ice cubes live in a separate freezer, so shall toddle into town to buy something to accompany them, maybe even stretch to some glasses to put it in, also some mugs might be an idea, & being sensible alternatives to & , occasionally!
Do pop over & say hi to the Bird's eyes if you get chance, you have been suitably introduced now & they could do with a bit of livening up, they are missing their regular dose of both Abbi & me!

First chance I've had to talk all day. Yuck, I'm all weary and humid and wishing myself elsewhere. I even think those little tickling smilies look cute. But maybe that's because of something else.

Hello, humid one!
Don't worry ? I'm all humid too after returning (finally) from my shopping trip.
Guess what I bought?
*clue: none of it was sensible. All of it is nice.*
Don't worry about humidity; humidity is the new
Nearly done today now, aren't we doing well?
à bientôt.

Our glorious leader is still taken ill. A day of national mourning shall ensue. I'm not going to do a stick of work out of respect. It's what he would want. He he he.
Lovely message awaiting this morning. I must stop reading them over breakfast, though: nearly choked at the end (is this what they mean by Camp Coffee?).

ooh, yippee! a remake of The exorcist then?
Bit worried about this big stick though, is it the sort that gets shaken about? Could it be used when the boy scouts start their camping activites?
What nationality am I thinking of now?

I wouldn't let a boy scout near it: I know what they are when they get hold of sticks.
I have another more northerly nationality in mind as a place to retire and curl up.

Hmm, yes, wouldn't want friction burns & all that.
As for the geography lesson, I was thinking of the Poles, apart, no, but maybe I'm Russian things a bit?
Oooh Postie has just delivered my carte bleu! Does this qualify me to be a sugar mummy?

Well I was thinking of the Laps, either singularly or severally. Must go and put things away now. Back later I hope.

Don't you need two 'P's for that? Can't decide if I'm being overly personal or practical on this one!
But, yes, sounds good to me.
*drifts off; yet again to primate territory*
Er, weren't we supposed to be calming down a bit today? Not that I'm complaining!

So would that be a petticoot then?
--Speaking of lingerieing around; I still have some shopping to do!
Just started on a new cheese-box; daren't reveal details on here, but it's certainly a departure from the previous style. Bi-directional musing going on, I feel.
Do you actually get a "proper" lunch break, ie: escape the aisles to a place you can use your mobile?
