The waiting's getting worse; which is not a bad restaurant joke, but a reality statement; however, it is partially offset by the mounting anticipation, which is not a bad horsy joke, but also a reality statement.
I'm glad you've at least got the distraction of the aisles; for my part, I will get going on the landlord's letter & whizz off on the into town to post it; hopefully having to appear in public may calm me down somewhat!
This is obviously some rather bizarre form of madness; but, my god, it's the nicest sort I've yet tried!
*throws caution to the wind: oops; there it goes*

There's the proof!
Can't tell my Y's from my W's!
Why?
Double you?
Surely not; I can hardly cope with one!
Oh dear, dear, dear!

Practically impossible to walk to work this morning. Perhaps it was the stiff breeze into which you've thrown your caution.

Mission accomplished!
M.Le Prop will get a nice little letter from me tomorrow morning.
Not the most pleasant trip into town ever, for various reasons; but it's done at least.
Back now, awaiting yet another visit from Lorenzo. Fingers crossed that this time The Beast really does go Boredband!
File this one away under
Now, where were we? Ah yes; you're there, I'm here.......

I have emerged blinking from the aisles to mangle a sarnie or two, and everything is the colour of files. The morning has actually passed quite quickly: I am spreading three cabinet section's worth of soild space throughout the aitches and eyes (who has eyes?). Beryl was n'doubt reserving the space for her coffin but I am enjoying myself. Oh dear.
Well done on accomplishing the mission. Let's hope it can take effect sooner than advertised, like so much else.

Aye, aye!
Aisle drink to that!
Glad you're enjoying all this shifting about *squirm* ; but I do hope the wretched things aren't enormous; if you end up with a hernia I bet your health & safety at work act wouldn't compensate sufficiently!
Feeling somewhat deflated myself; don't worry, it won't last long; I will probably bounce back once the latest waiting game is over;
Trying to decide whether to gobble up some curry in the meantime; if I start eating, he will no doubt arrive, if I leave it, I will probably go off the idea.
Maybe I'll join you in a sandwich? Sounds cosy at any rate; does this mean I know which side my bread's buttered on?
Where's that nice smiley they have on msn when I need it?

Just got this link from the Paris Meet thread, apparently it helps with finding your way around Paris, Metro etc.
I spoke to a "real" French person this morning, who reckons an hour should be plenty to get from one station to another, but may not be a 100% reliable source of information; so still best to check it out.

I only move a few at a time: wouldn't want to approach anything like hard work, after all.
Do enjoy tucking in to your curry sandwich, or whatever you end up with. I make this inane comment in lieu of the several filthy ones I oughn't to say here.
Hrm. The filing beckons once more. At least lunchtimes move quickly.
Chin up old thing. xx

Thanks; I do appreciate it!
I'm just tired really; plus "depression" can be contagious; I think you know what I mean.
My watch has steadfasly refused to be shifted from UK time, it is correct down to the last second; I checked!
Maybe I'll toddle over to Outlook Express, looking at my emails always cheers me up!
Trying to resist the urge to turnthe beast off & the phone on....

te he!!!
Simulpost whilst simultaneous gnashing of teeth no doubt!
(NOT advisable said the dentist; )
I have a feeling that direct communication is going to be somewhat easier.
At least it made me laugh; not so long back, I would have felt like going . Progress indeed.
