I'm Asteroid Lil and you both recently made an excursion to my Atelier. Since I live in New Mexico I am 7 time zones behind you and I've only just logged in to find that the atelier was a bit of a mess.

Everyone is welcome to join our conversations at the atelier, including both of you, but like any conversation, you can't just walk into the middle of it and stop it cold, especially when you haven't been properly introduced. That's true for real life, and it's true for any conversation here at the bbc, not just the atelier.

We have had teeners at the atelier before and got on quite well. But if you're hostile to adults, or if you don't like to talk about serious stuff, using decent english, then it won't appeal to you. I'm not just being stroppy about the english part, either: we have people from other countries besides America and England/Scotland/Wales/Ireland in the atelier, and they don't understand you when you talk in textspeak!

That's why we have a forum page, A304354 . Just click on that link and you can read all about what the Atelier is -- there's even a link to an offsite page or two that has illustrations and some backstory. The atelier has been around for 7 years now, and we have a lot of history.
