Both are great places to start. I am sure that you will love this community as much as we do There's lots of things to see, clubs to join and people to meet - please don't be shy - just jump right in - this is a friendly place. But be careful - it can become quite addictive - believe me I know

Edited Guide entries are entries, written by researchers which have been through the Peer Review process and have been accepted as permanent additions to h2g2.
If you are interested in writing for the guide check out this link for all the info
http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/C744
You can write an article and work on it from your page by going to the bottom of your page and adding an entry there - and when ready offer it for Peer Review. Have a look at teh bottom of my page if you like - I have only had one entry accepted (I only wrote one )but it should give you the general idea.

Niwt (or whatever your name is today ) I found this post on my list - do you need help or are you just expressing frustration??
I don't understand what you've done but DON'T UPSET YOUR PARENTS
Welcome Jim ...

If you are nice to your parents they may let you come to the Meet.
Then again, if you continue to drive them mad - they may send you just to get rid of you

- go figure??
But if they offer you a chance to go OS I'd be grabbing it with both hands.
If they will let you come to Sydney I can possibly put you up - if that is a possibility let me know and I'll email you my phone number.
But you must be sworn to secrecy about my identity - just between me, you and your parents ok?

Tee hee that sounds very nice but it would be completely impossible
My Dad's going to Sydney a week after the meet-up for work, and he doesn't want to go the Sydney twice in a week
