aye. plus ca change roond here eh?
...lived in dundee for a while too, liked studentlife up there
...and did manage to survive weegieland without any noticeable negative affectations
...i take it there's already been plenty said about the whole east vs west coast thing, but it's funny to think just how far the whole regional pride thing can be taken..

Nope, they're forkie-tailies! And woodlice are slaters!
If I used most of these words round my English husband, I'd get either a blank look or a thick ear for winding him up with 'makey-up' words! I have to try and talk properly most of the time.

I know what slaters be! Indeed I am a student in Dundee (how did you guess) I seem to have survived Glasgow with no noticable afflictions, but I only lived there for two years.
