Very possibly. It has been about ten years now since I left Glenrothes so I obviously got out while the going was good! If you want to send me more up to date info about my old home town feel free to send me anything and I will update the article.

Glenrothes is a nice place. One of the nicest places ive ever been. I go there nearly every weekend to meet up with my girlfriend.
Admittedly, they dont take too kindly to "moshers", but i can handle myself.
Apart from that, it is a cool place.

hi there,
don't know if you are still around but I thought I'd comment on the post anyway, and if I am talking to myself then oh well.
A couple of things
1. The Kingdom Centre:- Until the Metro Centre was built was the longest indoor shopping mall in Europe.
2. Perhaps include distances from Edinburgh, Glasgow and London
3. Balfarg Henge, Alledgedly a stoneage stone circle found when they were building
5. Glenrothes strollers winning the Scottish Junior cup
6. Warout Stadium holding the Scottish Pipe band competition anually
7. Shopping trolleys for safeway and Sainsburies used to be made there at Buko's
8. No mention at all about the amalgamtion of Leslie and Markinch
9. Queen Anne opening the twin town olympiad
10. Twinned with Bobligen in Germany (there is an umlaut in there somewhere)
Ok so it was more than a couple but I got carried away
Hope this is of some use
