Being in Quebec since 8 years and perfectly speaking french (living in France before living in Canada), speaking with young, middle and aged people, I had never heard those very words: "les slomeaux Anglais". I search trought Internet and don't find anything like this sentence or even the word slomeau.
The most resembling thing would be: "Les anglais sont snoreaux" (The English-Canadian are hateful). But French-Canadians don't refer to non-French-Canadian as that. They prefer: Maudit Anglâ (Literally: cursed English. Non-literally: "Be cursed stupid English-Canadien!!!"). All French-Canadian do not refer to the other canadian as that...
