A Conversation for World's Most Beautiful Buildings
The Sagrada Familia
lovelygirl Started conversation May 23, 2005
I'm a HUGE Gaudi fan, and had the privilege of visiting the Sagrada Familia a few years ago. WHAT A BUILDING!!!!!!!!
I don't think it'll ever be finished! When I went there were still cranes everywhere, and workmen swarming all over the building.
Several things stood out for me.
The snails crawling up the building.
The towers with nothing around them.
The fantastic curliques of the stonework.
I was lazy, and took the lift up to a small bridge connecting two of the towers, and BOY, what a vista!
I felt dizzy at the top.
Anyway, I thought the Sagrada was great
