Hello.
Today is the first day of my being a member of H2G2. It is very exciting. I had jam sandwiches for tea.
Have you noticed how religious organisations that come to your doorstep are now much more aware of the fact that people don't want to talk to them? Once upon a time, you'd go 'no thanks' and they would ignore you and charge ahead with whatever message they were supposed to deliver.
On Sunday afternoon I was doorstepped by two gentlemen selling their message and copies of 'The Watchtower' magazine. I opened the door, took one look at them and said 'No thanks'. They *immediately* responded with 'OK then' and were off before I closed the door. I was amazed.
Perhaps it was to do with the fact that I was drunk. And naked.
I would have bought 'The Watchtower' if it had more interesting articles in it. Like 'How to defend yourself against a man armed with a hatchet'. That sort of thing. I'd buy some for my friends as well. I'd ask everyone I know to get me a copy if the salespeople turn up. I'd probably subscribe, and maybe even become a member myself. But not until the articles improve.

This article is mental! It's not even *heard* of reality.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
