repetition, needs fixing, suggest:
When Wilberforce finally spoke in parliament against slavery, he meekly put forward the suggestion

Should have said 'accepted the suggestion'; corrected.

Yes, if there's standard Guide way of doing that, please let me know.

Have a look at the top bar on this entry: A13915181 that's the standard. Using the test function brings you the GuideML

so you can just replace the text/A-numbers with your four, although the numbers will need changing to the edited versions so it might be best to leave it for the sub-edsmiley - erm

Altogether, a good piece of work smiley - applause

"seized by the British navy" --> Royal Navy

"campaigning against the Lottery, the freeing of the children of slaves and immediate (as opposed to gradual) abolition of slavery itself"
- do you really mean this to read "campaigning against [...] the freeing of the children of slaves"?

"when the newly elected parliament sat for the first time" --> newly-elected

"ignoring both the Quakers and those Evangelicals, such as George Whitefield, who had been firm supporters of slavery."
-->
"ignoring both the Quakers who had supported the campaign and those Evangelicals, such as George Whitefield, who had been firm supporters of slavery."

Oops - wrong Entry. The above corrections are for part four...

For part three:

Tut, now look what you've done smiley - winkeye

Made corrections to all entries. This is now the only part that hasn't been picked smiley - sadface

And yes, Wilberforce did campaign against the freeing of the children of slaves. It was part of his belief that any action against slavery should be gradual. I've made this a little clearer in the entry.

Your Guide Entry has just been picked from Peer Review by one of our Scouts, and is now heading off into the Editorial Process, which ends with publication in the Edited Guide. We've therefore moved this Review Conversation out of Peer Review and to the entry itself.

If you'd like to know what happens now, check out the page on 'What Happens after your Entry has been Recommended?' at EditedGuide-Process. We hope this explains everything.

Thanks for contributing to the Edited Guide!
