I am so sorry - When I used the word "met" Terry Pratchett I should have used the term "was introudced to his work " So important to use the correct terms in English - I suppose in every language.
I had enrolled in a Creative Writing course at the local Adult Education Centre, and we were "introduced" to the works of Terry Pratchett who was still relatively unknown at the time.
How lucky you are to have actually physically met him. Your sister must have been thrilled with her p;resent.
Go well on all your travels and good luck with your Christmas shopping. I wonder how I am going to do it this year.
