It's a mystery to me why our navigators gnaw of their 
and desert this ship whenever they have a chance 
Is it that bad to be chained to ones proper w*rkplace? I thought we were doing them a favour by making sure no tsunamis would ever be able to wash them overboard
Okay, so we may have forgotten to feed them every once in a while, but still, surely a steady job is better than no job these days?
Oh well, the European Space agency is just launching a Russian rocket to install a new global positioning system called Galileo. Once it's up and running we probably won't need to navigators any more.
Until then I'll just plot in this course on our autopilot:
Autopilot! Get us to Tahiti. We seem to be running out of vanilla, hammocks, sunshine, 
and spare time
