Decided to fish on the tidal stretch where I saw a carp the week before . But before starting I pre-baited a swim on the middle section of the river with maize , maples and hemp . Fishing just the few hours before and after hightide I used large swimfeeders filled with vitalin and trout pellets . Well I didn't have a bite but it was interesting with plenty of kingfishers , ducks and other assorted wildlife .
