Okay,
what I am trying to do with the articals I write is add a bit a flavor to H2G2 and have attempted to write it in a chatty, irreverant style.
That not everyone gets them is the whole point of the articals in my opinion the more quirky h2g2 is the better, much like Douglas's work that is the inspiration behind this whole thing.
I personally would love to see for example different spoken languages used, more quirky articals just more texture in general.
Plus of course I am trying to do is go with the big h2g2 "in joke" , thats is that the articals are written in a obviously personal, opinionated, quirky way but presented in a neutral voice for example you don't tend to see in the articals "in my opinion" even though when you read the text it obviously is only their opinion!
I hope my little lump of text here has helped you understand where I am coming from.

What are "ARTICALS" actually?
I'm curious, too, about the building in London with the huge 42. Does that really exist?

I may have been reading far too much into this. I thought the quirky spelling of ARTICALS was deliberate. It was consistently written that way throughout. Was it just a harmless typo?
Sorry, if that's the case. No disrespect intended.

Yep it exists! Brings a smile to my face every morning! Is on a build known locally as "the Natwest tower" It was the tallest building in London (50 Stories 200.6 Metres) when it was completed in 1980 its only within the last year gained the giant 42 when it was bought by a consortium whose marketing consultancy thought in would be a good idea to rename it "Tower 42", the number is best viewed from South-SouthEast and given that its 200 metres up, some way back!!
