"What's Your Other Name?" - The Web-App
Researcher 178815 Started conversation Apr 6, 2004
As inspired by F19585?thread=401937, I've decided to take a break from coding difficult stuff (that will revolutionise the standards for Blogging services to meet, by the way) and code something basic.
I'll post again here when it's done. Visit the Thread, and if you have any ideas for better name-substitutes to put into it, let me know and I'll change 'em.

You're welcome.
And if I don't stop procrastinating from writing the blog upgrade and making scripts like these, Saturnine is going to kill me.

How exactly am I Boobie Girdle-head?
Wait, don't answer that. I don't want to know.

Well, see the post that the widget links to. You gain three new names based on the following letters in your current name:
Firstname: Choose the corresponding name to the third letter in your firstname.
Secondname (part one): Choose the corresponding name to the second letter in your secondname.
Secondname (part two): Choose the corresponding name to the fourth letter in your secondname.
And thus, you become:
Boobie Girdle-head. Any ideas for a new set of names are welcome (I can make it support different 'word sets' if you want to be able to use both sets)

*thinks*
Oh. I know who that was.
I've been cloned, you see. And irritating a Researcher is against the House Rules. No typo intended.

It's quite funny that a self-proclaimed omnipotent being can't get around having his postings removed. Don't you think?

I think it's quite funny that he can't work out that, if he just capitalised his nouns and expanded his vocabulary, he would imitate aka and I much more efficiently.
Not to mention the fact that we both have websites that would be easier to attack.

Actually, I think it's easier to resort to such tactics on h2g2, because h2g2 has policies; Whereas I'm an immoral servermaster; so any attacks on mine or Saturnine's off-h2g2 sites (which are all hosted by myself) would be policed with rather more agression than h2g2.
Bah. What's the point in having root access to your own Linux box unless you have users to have corrupted control over?
