My name is Sally and I'm an ACE (or assistant community editor) and I'm here to say hello and ask what kind of colour is Penguin? I'm also here to help out if you have any problems.
This is a page with a few helpful links, so that I don't have to write them out lots of times

If you have any problems just reply to this message and I'll see if I can help, or at least find someone who can.
Everyone is a bit sad after DNA leaving us so unexpectedly, if you want to leave a message for the family please do so.
Enjoy and have fun

Hi Sally, hi all. It's good to be here, I've been a lurker for a year or two and I finally thought it was about time I started contributing something!
What kind of colour is Penguin? Well, er, just how do you describe a colour? It's a shade that has elements of black and white, of course, plus a smidgen of parmesan and three dollops of refrigerator not to mention a little bit of void and teensy rhombus of ion. I'm sure you can see it everywhere you look now I've pointed it out.
I'll be sure to look through the help, particularly on GuideML.
Yes, it is very sad about Douglas, a really good chap - it was a big shock.

Adam - I am deeply dubious about your description of this 'Penguin' colour. I shall have to look out for it. Did you know you can get vegerarian parmesan?
I used to have a favourite colour, Green, but we fell out. Now I prefer not to choose and instead wander through colour fads . . . I was big on purple for a while, and topaz has had its moments.
I feel a good deal of yellow and blue coming on in the next few months - at least to start with.
Good here, isn't it.
Cheers,
Tallorder . . . no order too tall!

Penguin is all around you, initiate. You just have to calm your mind and cast out all that you were taught about colours when you were young, then you will see it. I initially found it when a localised reality failure occurred in my vicinity, it was quite a revelation.
Yellow, blue, green, purple and topaz can be fun colours to look at, if a little ordinary. My second favourite colour is collegial, it's a very collective colour. I'm sure one day you'll find that one special colour as I have...
It is good here, isn't it.
Good luck

Purcell, you've been at the chocolate buttons again, haven't you???
He does this, you know. Induces all sorts (no pun intended) of bizarre ideas - meglomania being one of them as well as obsessions with penguins and, strangely, goats - mountain ones preferably.
Right, I'm off to swim Everest.
