Hello
Well, all I can say, is if you've connected from home, expect your telephone bill to go sky high and if you're in work, don't expect to get any work done ever again - I found this site and registered yesterday and spent all afternoon and now this morning exploring! I think my boss is getting suspicious!

I'm at work so the phone bill is not a problem. How on earth can you spend so long exploring this site - I mean, I know it's good but not that good. Unless of course you have a very slow computer or you read reeeaaally sloooowwwwly, in which case I'll type slowly ... !

Well, I tend to read anything and everything (very very quickly!) - can't help it really, I've always been the same. Always reading something - never leave the house without a book, money yes, book no! There are lots of things to look at under the 'Life, the Universe and Everything' headings at the top of the page and I've been flicking through that lot on and off. I'm interested in just about everything really.

OK, well I'm interested in most things - tend to read this and that as well as always having a book on the go. Point me at something really, really interesting to read and I'll go to it.

I thought this was really interesting, but as we all have different tastes, it might not be to your liking. It's under 'Everything/Philosophy/Henry David Thoreau' - ref A476868 - sorry, don't know how to make a link.

OK, I read it...! mmmm can't that it was the most thought provoking thing I'd ever read but it had some interesting facts (if true). Like Tolstoy, Chekhov and Willie Morris reading and finding inspiration in his 'Walden'.
Any more suggestions, your choice says more about you than the writer or the subject matter.

To make a link:
Right click on the address bar when you are at the page, then left click on the "copy" option.
Then when you wish to paste the url to someone, just right-click, then click the "paste" option.
I hope that helps. Bad news

Hi
I'm around now - but only for two minutes. Thankfully the bad news turned out okay in the end. My 1 year old nephew had been rushed into hospital with suspected meningitis, but turned out to be a different sort of virus - he's much improved now.
Can't stop - off home now
