A revised version of my first effort
I think this should be in the guide because, as far as I know, I'm the only researcher who's lived there!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A550324 is where you can find the revised version. Don't know why the other's gone - my cock-up I suspect !

Sounds good! Alas, as you're mostly describing the history of this place, I'd recommend to change the title into something like 'History of Bridgnorth, UK' or so, and it'll make it!
Or, if you could be bothered to add some more work, why not dividing the article into chapters and add some description of its present state (eg, how to reach, where to eat etc.)?
Some minor points still:
a few s would be good to underline the structure,
there aren't any smileys within Guide entries, so they are going to be deleted,
and the bit of 1st person style should be rephrased, for example:
>
(Header: Pubs and Places To Go)
The town boasts many pubs - a few years ago they amounted to 50, but I think some of those may be gone now - but if you're there check out the B**ks's {there ought to be a fully spelled-out name here} bitter!

keep up the good work!

Interesting entry. I saw the Time Team programme, loved the grapefruit flinging demonstration. BTW are you allowed to reference a rival TV channel's website?
I agree with Bossell about the structure and that its mainly historical at the moment.
I drive through Bridnorth quite often, it has an excellent market. (Relative to most markets in Shropshire that is.) Actually I came to read this in case you had any information on the caves. I've heard that there were people still living in them within living memory. Did you ever hear anything of them?

Are you still working on this? Otherwise I'm afraid this thread will have to leave Peer Review
