As I'm sure you're aware by now, Douglas Adams died on Friday, if you want to leave a message of condolence to his family please do so on Douglas' own h2g2 page http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/U42

No problem, it seems we have a lot of new people this weekend, ironically, the death of Douglas Adams seems to have given this site some massive publicity - I wonder what would have made of that.
This is pretty much the friendliest place I've ever found on the net, hope you enjoy here too, we will keep his memory going

It's a pitty everyone couldn't have joined when he was alive, they then might understand how everyone feels about his death.

True but I don't imagine many people joining this site are not DNA fans so I would guess most share the grief - and the more here the better.
Really my feelings go out to his family and those who knew him personally, I talk quite regularly with one of the team who run this site. They did know him personally and for them it must be a terrible shock.

Well we all share the same feeling when ever someone dies. But as his personality was so great i think we might all miss him as though we knew him personaly.
Key: Complain about this post
