I leave for London in exactly 2 weeks. Hooray!
Wedding plans are scootin' along. He and I are in the middle of a sizable argument right now, so his name is "mud" currently. It doesn't matter though. Still love him. The big stinky butthead!!!
Why are men such BABIES?? I swear. LOL! I can't wait for Christmas though. How's your little one?

LOL - with you and Andy that's like holding tea and no tea at the same time! I know just what you mean.
So, the smallish person wants EVERYTHING for Christmas. And we're back on Donkey Kong (I had forgotten how much it drives me insane). He is wont to walk around asking "who wants to know how much is 9 plus 9" and things - which is wonderful. And he's finally adjusted to school!
And the time is flying by. He seems to grow up so fast. I am way too lenient of a Mom because life seems way to short to hassle over most everything.
Hurray for getting to see Andy in just two weeks!

I'm so glad to hear that he's adjusted to school!! Being proud of what he's learned is a great sign!
Donky Kong. Does he have a playstation? What is the BIG GIFT this year if he could have anything? I think at his age I was asking for a pony or a baby brother.
I think that being a laid-back mom is a nice thing. My mom says that if she could go back and do anything differently when I was a kid, it would be not to stress so much about little things. Of course, she was only 20 when I was born, so allowances have to be made. She was a child herself!
Are you planning on anything for New Years?

Hi again!
Nope, no playstation. It's a Nintendo 64. But he does have a gameboy too. Good question on "what's the big toy this year" - I think I escaped! We skipped the planned shortages most years - until he had a Furby craze two years ago - that was when I learned about buying on e-bay and yahoo and other placees. That definitely had its ups and downs, but now I'm better at it (at not losing my money!) I bought Andrew two missing Humfrey hug-a-bears via e-bay this year (they come from Eckerds drugstores and they are dated each year going back to 1989 - he has one early one and the one from the year he was born and all those from 1996 and up). The prices for the two I bought were reasonable and the items came when expected and were as expected thank goodness.
My new years will be very usual, boring, safe. As I recall your New Years, last one was a swiss hotel, with Andy appearing on swiss tv - is anything like that in the works? And what do you hope to get for Christmas? It doesn't matter, you'll be with Andy, that IS Christmas!
