I heard of the tragic event on Saturday afternoon, but i have only just maneged to post anything. I felt I had to do something as a tribute, but had no ideas. We went to the beach on Sunday where I had an idea i was going to make a BIG 42 in the sand with my message under it. When I had finished the 42 turned out to be 15m by 15m. I have blisters on my hands now at least the pain is in a good cause. Have fun at Millways DNA.

how do u get blisters from drawing in the sand?
... maybe they should ban it from kindegartan.
I had 2 sleep in the wet play area of a school once and that had a sand pit.

I was pleased to read that someone feels like I do, as regards doing something as a tribute to DA. You may know that he became interested in saving endangered species towards the end of his life (read 'Last Chance to See' if you haven't already done so) and I think if he knew we were doing anything in his memory he would approve of us doing that sort of thing.

Meanwhile, I hope the blisters are healing.
