White Chocolate!

Many of us don't eat Milky Bars. We see them as below us, as "kiddy chocolate." I was once like you, proud, unbelieving, ignorant of the bliss that awaited me for less than 30p.

Then I got bored and thought "What the hey"

The feeling of wonderful recollection as I bit into that tasteful bar was one of sheer wonder, I was instantly five years old again. They are just great! It's now my first choice whenever I'm picking snacks.

On a personal level, how come we're restricted when it comes to discussing politics, but I can blatantly advertise Milky Bars here? For all you know Milky Bar could be paying me to do this, and now that I've thought of that I am seriously, seriously annoyed that they are.

Oh poo, that was a seriously dangerous typo! Should be read:

I have to admit that I love Milky Bars, in fact I've got one of the giant bars in the freezer---it's great straight out of the freezer, especially in the sort of weather we're having at the moment (ie too hot to work in smiley - smiley)!

The thing I really miss about it though is not being able to call it 'Nessuls Milky Bar' rather than the official 'Nesslay Milky Bar' (if you see what I mean).

I think I once saw a documentary that said one of the Milky Bar Kids was alergic to the product... glad I'm not smiley - biggrin

Ah, but did you ever discover "White Mice"? They were made of a material almost identical to the Milky Bar, but with a little more vanilla... When I were a young 'un, they were four for a penny, but that was just before decimalisation...

They're highly addictive, and in my Student days I was glad to discover a wholesaler who didn't check your trade membership card if you were buying such "obviously" trade-only items as, say, a case of "White Mice"... Bliss.

Ooh yes, white mice were marvelous... and yes, I remember getting them from 'the penny tray' at the local offy. smiley - biggrin

Amazing what you could buy for a farthing.

Stunningly lip smacking right now... I wonder if there's anywhere round here stocks them (probably in their modern sterile wrappings).

I have seen them since, but a lot more espensive than the penny tray could have coped with. smiley - sadface
