Hi Cloughie! Nope, you won't find my poem anywhere around these parts. I had a different U# when I was here last year...but Shirps said all her poems are gone too. Do wish I would have made a copy...just kidding...I have the origanial...just can't remember where I parked it.
I was just outside, barefoot in the rain planting yellow flowers.
I left a note on the garbage it read: YO, BFI guys...there's a bathroom in the garage if you ever need to use it...Just as long as the garage door is open. (we don't even have a door yet. We do on the bathroom...just not the garage) So, no big deal right? AH-HAA! Instead of one guy taking the note into the truck where the other guys are...they all three get out of the truck, in the rain and read the note...now I told you what the note said...
but they were out there standing around the garbage for quiet a while...Then they looked at me, standing in the garage, hanging some gardening tools on the wall...and one by one...
they came on in and used the bathroom...one by one they all thanked me. I feel just so much closer to my garbage men now.
(hope they don't want to use the pool in the Summer)
And I really had a good time with you the other night!
HA! I got up at 8pm last night. (Guess I was tired after laughing for so many hours!) And I freaked myself out!!!! HA-AHA-HA! I thought it was 8 am!!!! Well...it was hard to tell...I was so burnt out plus all it's been doing is raining...so it's always grey outside...Thank goodness MAC talks!!!! I was in the middle of thinking Bear was late for work....I was trying to get his lunch packed! HA! Then I said to myself, "Self. Do you know what day it is?" And I said back to myself...'cause that's who I was talking to, "Nope, I sure as s**t don't EVEN have a clue what day it is!!!" So, I pushed that icon on MAC: *ask me what day it is* and MAC told me...& YOU think MAC is worthless....huh!

geez, I just put the cursor over the clock, and it pops right up. I don't like my computer talking to me. I DO want it to listen, though. My friend gave me a cool voice recognition program that takes dictation. You have to train it by reading all these quotes and such. I need a new microphone, though. It has to be a headset deal. I'll let you know how it goes if I ever get it going.
